Each full-time permanent bargaining unit employee shall be entitled to three (3) personal leave days with pay in each calendar year. Each permanent part-time employee shall receive the entitlement to personal leave days on a pro-rata basis.
Personal leave shall be for the purpose of conducting private affairs, including observance of religious holidays, and shall not be deducted from vacation, holiday time, sick leave credits or any other leave time. Personal leave days not taken in a calendar year shall not be accumulated.
