Health & Safety Committee

On June 1st,  2007, in accordance with Article 12 of the current NP-5 contract, PSEC reestablished the Health and Safety Committee.  Under the provisions of the contract, four representatives from our membership and four appointees from the State form the committee. The following Union members make up the Health and Safety Committee: Steve Licitra, DMV;  Ricardo Torres, DHMAS;  Patrick Selburg, UCONN FD. The Committee chairperson is David Hazzard, who is also the Union's workers' compensation representative.

The committee will meet at 11:00 am on the third Thursday of the month.  The Union encourages all members to read the contract and to report any possible health and safety concerns to the committee. Members can present issues to the committee for review in any of the following ways:  contacting a committee member individually; completing the online form at the bottom of the page; or by contacting David Hazzard directly in the Union office at (860) 953-2626, extension 13.
