Lifesaving: For personally performing urgently required care in a
lifesaving effort that extends above and beyond the general
call of duty.
Gold-
Doing so at extreme personal risk.
Silver-
Doing so at great personal risk.
Bronze- Doing so
under unusual circumstances.
Medal of Valor: For acts of bravery or heroism, usually at the risk of
serious injury or death, that exemplify public service.
Selfless Service Award: For Union Brothers and Sisters who have sustained
career ending or life-altering injuries while acting in the
line of duty, and under unusual circumstances.
Meritorious Service Award: Achievement or service outside of normal duties
that enhance the principals of solidarity or public safety
in our communities or those which we serve.
Unit Citation: For distinctive service and camaraderie as a unit, under
adverse conditions, acting above and beyond their normal
function.
Civilian Recognition Award: For outstanding support or assistance by a community
member or organization, which had a positive influence upon
the Union or its members. |
